Midia Coste is a Romanian-born, Antwerp-based artist whose work is deeply influenced by her early experiences during a pivotal period in her homeland's history. Growing up in the 1980s, she witnessed Romania's transformation from a socialist society to capitalism, with the Romanian Revolution of 1989 marking the start of her adolescence.
Tom Merckx is a designer and artist based in Antwerp. With a distinctive approach to collage and mixed media, his work blends artistic expression with self exploration. Using layers of eclectic paper scraps and various materials to navigate complex emotional landscapes, he invites viewers to engage with both the materials and the meanings behind them.
Born in France, based in Hong Kong, and a graduate of the prestigious Rietveld Academy, Dominique Chan is at the age of 75 painting daily. Chan's art is characterized by its exuberant use of color, bold brushstrokes, and a sense of spontaneity that captures the energy and dynamism of life.
